Consistent with our pre-clinical findings, in metastatic melanoma samples, we observed a highly significant correlation between tumors enriched in type 2 immune cells and eosinophil infiltration ( Extended Data Fig. 8a ) and this pattern was associated with a marked improvement in patient overall survival ( Extended Data Fig. 8b ).
