Regression analyses suggested a significant linear relation between beat‐to‐meter ratio and RMSSD in the duple condition (Pearson r = 0.694, R‐square = 0.481, p = .004, slope = −0.56, intercept = 1.83) (Figure 4a ) and a marginally significant linear relation between the two measures in the triple condition (Pearson r = 0.485, R‐square = 0.23, p = .067, slope = −0.29, intercept = 1.74) (Figure 4b ).
