After adjusting for medical comorbidities (cancers, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and substance use disorders), in addition to age, gender and ethnicity, the odds of COVID‐19 infection among patients with a mental disorder decreased, but remained highly significant (see Figure 2 ).
