A sharp increase in blood lactate levels after an acute exhaustive exercise (mean value 12.0 to 12.2 mmol/L) is associated with a significant worsening of immediate (defined as the explicit trial; p < 0.001 ****) as well as delayed (defined as the implicit trial; p < 0.001 ****, i.e., highly significant) reproduction of sequential visuomotor task paradigm, without gender differences.
