The highly significant F 1 hybrid x environment interaction for all traits across all conditions, including optimal, suggested that the QPM genotypes evaluated in this study responded differently across the testing environments, which indicated the need for wide testing of QPM genotypes across varying environmental conditions to identify the best performing and stable hybrids that can be released for commercial production.
