The likelihood of having a SARS-CoV-2 infection confirmed by RT-PCR was also increased among females and the elderly ≥75 years as compared with young adults; patients with psychiatric and neurological comorbidities (and those with diabetes mellitus with a borderline significance) had increased likelihood of having the infection; those with diseases of the lipid metabolism had decreased risk of having the infection.
