In addition, we had the following secondary aims: (a) to identify the prevalence of the different ways of feeding milk upon discharge from hospital, at 15 days, at one month and at three months in a healthcare area which does not yet have BFHI accreditation; and (b) to determine the factors that have the strongest influence on early abandonment at this stage, which is highly significant in the process and practice of breastfeeding. 2.
