Even though macroscopic disease development tended to develop later in mice that were orally inoculated with Pg compared to mice receiving Aa or sham treatment, the p-value resulting from a Breslow test was 0.086, indicating differences in the early phase of arthritis induction which however, did not quite reach significance.
