Earlier reports also indicated a strong phosphorus fertilization effect on other macronutrient accumulation in plants [ 53 , 54 ]. A negative and highly significant correlation was observed between the level of P supplementation and chlorophyll concentration in sugar beet, while the other plants showed non-significant correlations.
