To identify the most influential independent factors in the appearance of GIF a multivariate analysis was performed with all significant and almost significant variables from the univariate analysis that has been included in a backwards-stepwise model of binary logistic regression, with the condition that those whose p is less than 0.05 remain in the final model and more than 0.15 are removed.
