supine posture induced an increase in DBP and HR, and a nonsignificant trend toward increasing aortic PWV values. 17 Other studies suggested that PWV changes in body position during head-up tilt was associated with hydrostatic BP variations. 20 , 21 Notwithstanding profound differences in the aim and design of studies, our results are in keeping with these observations.
