Comparison of participants according to educational background showed a decreasing trend in compliance with mask-wearing behaviours in those with middle school or below education background compared with those in participants with high school diploma, college, or graduate degree (ORs= 0.73 [95% CI=0.61–0.89, p =0.000], 0.47 [95% CI=0.39–0.57, p =0.000], and 0.37 [95% CI=0.30–0.46], p =0.000, respectively).
