We correlated the extent of glial coverage within the subretinal space with the thickness of debris and found a highly significant negative correlation, wherein the higher the presence of glia within the subretinal space, the lower the thickness of debris ( Figure 7I ; Pearson's correlation r 2 = 0.702, p < 0.0001).
