At present, the role of PET/CT with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG PET/CT) in MM has reached an extremely significant level of evidence, so much so that it is considered a method of choice both in the diagnostic phase and for prognosis, as well as in the assessment of response to treatment.
