In addition, although there may be significant experience in using these existing therapies for chronic immune-mediated diseases in children, there may be little or no experience in using them in patients who would be at the greatest risk from COVID-19 such as infants, those who are otherwise immunocompromised, and those with pre-existing complex medical conditions.
