There was a highly significant decrease in Air Kerma (AK) in the Post-VLFF group compared to the pre-VLFF (mean 1,714 ± 140 mGy in the pre-VLFF group vs. mean 433 ± 27 mGy in the post-VLFF group; and median (range) was 1,197(683–2,062) in the pre-VLFF group vs. 302 (206–517) in post-VLFF group; p < 0.0001).
