One meta-analysis of Wang et al., including six studies with 2727 patients, reported a borderline significant increase (RR: 1.20, 95% CI: 1.00–1.44) in the likelihood of receiving a kidney transplant among patients treated with HDF compared to those patients treated with HD [ 10 ].
