However, there were reductions in prevalence in many of the northern states between 2015 and 2018, and significant declines were seen overall in the North Central zone (PR adj =0.56, 95% CI 0.48 to 0.56) and North-West zone (PR adj =0.90, 95% CI 0.83 to 0.98), while the decline was of borderline significance in the North East (PR adj =0.85, 95% CI 0.72 to 1.00).
