Introduction Cervical cancer is the second most common type of preventable cancer among women globally.[ 1 ] It is the seventh most common cancer and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths among Korean women in Korea.[ 2 , 3 ] The mortality rate among Korean American immigrant (KAI) women diagnosed with cervical cancer was significant as the age-specific incidence rate of cervical cancer showed a decreasing trend in all age groups except those younger than 30 years.[ 4 ] Korean Americans are one of the most rapidly growing ethnic minority populations in the United States.
