A decreasing trend was observed in other considered cities (Fig. 3 b, 3c and 3d) where in the NO 2 concentrations were as low as 8.2, 19.1, and 11.6 μg/m 3 in Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune, compared to 11.5, 27.4, and 16.0 μg/m 3 before the lockdown and > 15, > 30, and > 12 μg/m 3 during 2019, respectively.
