33.8% of cases in the whole series were approached by laparoscopic technique, with an increasing trend recorded year by year (see Figure 1 c), resulting in a significant difference for the use of minimally invasive technique among the three periods analyzed (7.8% in Period 1, 30.3% in Period 2 and 58.7% in Period 3, p = 0.02).
