Outcome measures At T1, students who had been trained with the ‘Mental Training’ approach showed highly significant better results in the performance of a structured facial examination (Rater 1 p < 0.001; Cohen’s d = 0.86; Rater 2 p = 0.005; Cohen’s d = 0.66, r = 0.74) than students who had been trained with the ‘See One, Do One’ approach (Table 1 ).
