Interestingly, presence of cardiomyopathy without arrhythmia and hypertension carry a limited increase in the odds of death, which is borderline significant, as shown by the confidence intervals: estimated OR of 1.38, 95% CI of 1.01 – 1.88 and OR of 1.22, 95% CI of 1.01 – 1.47, respectively ( Table 3 and Fig. 2 , panel A).
