( 72 ) evaluated the diagnostic and prognostic values of circVAPA for CRC, the results showed that circVAPA expression in the plasma was significantly increased in CRC patients compared to in healthy controls, with an AUC of 0.724, and circVAPA expression exhibited higher in stage III and IV patients than in stage I and II patients, indicating that the plasma level of circVAPA showed a positive trend with TNM stage progression.
