Cox proportional hazard regression modelling, in which the length of the employment period of nail technicians was considered as time at risk, with right censoring based on the occurrence of plasma biomarker levels falling beyond the normal plasma range, revealed certain marginally significant ( p ≈ 0.10) suggestions that the proportions of nail technicians with plasma levels of HDL and fGlu beyond respective normal ranges tend to rise faster over time under higher Σ( C i / N i ) values.
