Sequence-Specific Learning During Test Phase Paired t -tests revealed that, compared with the adjacent Standard Blocks, error rates were significantly larger in the Total Random Block (Total Random: M = 9%, SD = 5%; Standard: M = 4%, SD = 3%; t = 3.28, p < 0.01, Cohen's d = 0.77, BF 10 = 10) and the Random Location Block (Random Location: M = 9%, SD = 7%; Standard: M = 2%, SD = 2%; t = 3.93, p < 0.01, Cohen's d = 0.93, BF 10 = 35), but failed to reach significance in the other two Random Blocks (all p > 0.5).
