Mirroring the previous results of observed differences, bootstrapped ratios of within to between-subject variability were not significantly different for the α parameter ( F boot = 1.05, 95% CI = [0.55, 1.98]); we find a difference that was close to significance for β ( F boot = 0.59, 95% CI = [0.31, 1.05]) and a significant difference for σ ( F boot = 0.38, 95% CI = [0.22, 0.64]).
