For any variable that showed significant or marginally significant association with overall survival, multivariate analysis was performed using the Cox regression model adjusting for breast cancer subtype, age, number of previous treatment lines, presence of visceral crisis, and type of visceral crisis, ECOG-performance status, and type of platinum combination.
