There were no significant differences in the expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-1 among the experimental groups, but MMP-2 expression showed an increasing trend in the partial cervical tissue excision, administration of LPS, and partial cervical tissue excision plus administration of LPS groups compared to the sham group.
