Many variables have shown a promising trend toward significance in forecasting CT scan improvement: younger age, female sex, fewer overall burden of smoking, absence of hypertension, higher lymphocyte count at admission, lower N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (nt-proBNP) at admission, therapy with lopinavir/ritonavir.
