Participants assigned to active treatment also demonstrated marked and significant gains in multiple individual domains of memory function and mood (ps < 0.03), and marginally significant improvements in cognitive performance (DSST and TMT-B) and QOL (physical health component) (ps≤0.095), with effect sizes ranging from moderate (0.4-0.5) to large (0.8–1.1).
