We did find that in the younger age group (age 50–60 years), there is a significant interaction between screening and PRS ( P interaction , 0.043 for incidence and marginal significance of 0.092 for mortality), suggesting that a CRC screening at a younger age might only benefit individuals with intermediate or higher genetic risk.
