(1998) did not observe significant differences in any of the PKC isozymes between depressed subjects and NC subjects, there was a nonsignificant trend towards decreased expression of PKCα, β, γ, and ε in BA9, PKCα, and ε in BA10, which may due to the small numbers of subjects (n = 10) they studied.
