The lack of benefit of ARBs observed in this study might be significant, because multiple clinical trials using ARBs are recruiting patients based on the initial clinical attention associated with ACE2-COVID-19 issues (14 studies, with the search terms of “COVID-19” and “ARBs,” identified in ClinicalTrials.gov, accessed January 25, 2021).
