The < 50 % group may be a mix of significant structural damage and high signal inflammation whose results were in fact intermediate between the definitely significantly damaged > 50 % partial tear and full thickness tear groups excellent results on the one hand, and the non-structurally damaged tendinitis group’s less good results on the other.
