Among the many papers, one published in the Am J Respir Cell Mol Biology on sphingosine-mediated activation of phospholipase D (PLD) in endothelial cells was extremely significant as we were the first to demonstrate the potential of sphingosine and sphingolipids in vascular endothelial function.
