Seropositivity to canine tick-borne pathogens in a population of sick dogs in Italy.

Discussion Data obtained from a large sample of dogs suspected of being clinically ill during a 15-year period showed the seroprevalence and distribution of four key TBPs in Italy, as well as an increasing trend of cumulative seroprevalence and number of cases throughout the peninsula, with a high seroprevalence in the northern and central areas of Italy.
