Histochemical staining and H 2 O 2 and O 2 ‐ content measurements both revealed that all transgenic lines and the WT lines showed an increasing trend with increasing cold treatment time (Figure 9e–g ); moreover, the DgTIL1 transgenic lines accumulated less H 2 O 2 and O 2 ‐ than the DgTIL1 K72R transgenic lines and the WT lines but more H 2 O 2 and O 2 ‐ than the DgTIL1 K72N transgenic lines.
