Several bacterial OTUs had highly significant positive correlations to the molar fraction of acetate in rumen liquids (B_OTU 2: Prevotella_1 , B_OTU 3: Prevotella_1 , B_OTU 4: Prevotella_1 , B_OTU 5: Prevotella_1 , B_OTU 6: Prevotella_1 , and B_OTU 19: Prevotella_1 ), and several had significant negative correlations to acetate (B_OTU 1: Succinivibrionaceae UCG-001 , B_OTU 27: Prevotella_7 , B_OTU 29: Prevotella_7 , and B_OTU 52: Prevotella_7 ).
