Compared to patients on warfarin, there was a tendency for reduced upper gastrointestinal bleeding risk in patients on both standard dose and reduced dose of NOACs, which was statistically significant in standard dose of NOACs and was of borderline significance in reduced dose of NOACs ( Fig 4 ).
