During the early stage of youth development, the intermediate U13 soccer performance [ F (14;464) = 13.71; p < 0.001] is primarily determined by the early MC at age U9, which is in particular represented by the difficult coordination of the upper limbs in the challenging push-up task ( p < 0.05) and the sprint run performance (20-m sprint; p < 0.10), although the latter effect is smaller and only shows a tendency toward significance.
