When FEV 1 and fasting glucose were replaced by COPD, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension, results remained largely unchanged and CUD remained genetically correlated with COVID-19 hospitalization, except when controlling for marijuana use, in which CUD was reduced to marginally significant but effect sizes were similar ( Table S2 ; see Figure S1 for full genetic correlation matrix).
