When considered collectively with results of our secondary analysis that shows an increasing trend of yCRC incidence from 1986 to 2016 (APCi = 1.48%, 95% CI = 1.02% to 1.93%), our study highlights the changing epidemiology of CRC among younger adults and the need for widespread awareness among patients and health care providers.
