The effect of the variables (type of cover yarns, inlay elastane yarn count) on the circumference of the unwashed stockings was evaluated by multiple linear regression, and it was found that all selected variables were highly significant factors affecting the resultant circumference with an R-square value of 0.877 (sig. 0.000).
