Highly significant increases in both KRAS4A and KRAS4B transcripts were found in RNAseq data from KRAS mutant versus WT lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tumors, but KRAS4A showed a greater fold increase (1.7) than KRAS4B (1.2) (Supplementary Fig. 9A–C ).
