These drugs may have a narrow therapeutic index (antiarrhythmics, anticonvulsants, immunosuppressants, theophylline) or the decrease in their plasma levels may be significant/undesirable (oral contraceptives, benzodiazepines, opioids).[ 70 ] Caution is advised in the form of clinical/laboratory monitoring following the initiation/withdrawal of tocilizumab and the dosage of the CYP450 substrates adjusted accordingly.
