The following psychometric inventories were assessed online: COVID-19 Questionnaire A COVID-19 questionnaire was created by the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medicine Graz assessing COVID-19-associated fears as follows: On a scale from 0–10, how strongly do you rate your concerns and fears about the coronavirus? On a scale from 0–10, how strongly do you rate your fear of contracting the coronavirus? On a scale from 0–10, how strongly do you rate your fear of infecting others with the coronavirus? As all the items showed a highly significant intercorrelation (all p < 0.01), a mean index for COVID-19 associated fears (“COVID-19 fears”) was created, showing a Cronbach's alpha of α = 0.79.
