Discussion We assessed growth rates in daily COVID-19 diagnoses in Victoria, Australia before and after the introduction of a mandatory mask policy in Melbourne (where 95% of Victoria’s diagnosed cases occurred), finding a highly significant decrease of 0.065 per day in the growth rate, from 0.042 per day to -0.023 per day.
