Notably, in the Joinpoint analysis, we found a declining trend in mortality rate in the 40–49 age group and an increasing trend in the incidence rate in the 60–69 age group in urban areas, in contrast to the trends that we predicted with the BAMP model, probably because the Joinpoint analysis did not combine the entire age-period-cohort effect.
