The Association between MS and Osteoporosis As shown in Figure 2 , ten datasets compared nonosteoporosis to osteoporosis with or without MS; there was a borderline significant association between MS and osteoporosis (OR = 0.72, 95% CI: 0.52–0.99, p =0.046) when combining all ORs with the random-effects model, and a high degree of heterogeneity ( I 2 = 73%, p < 0.001) between these studies.
